Southfield, MI – December 17, 2015 – Vimax Media LLC teamed with Marsh Supermarkets and WTHR-TV, the NBC affiliate in the grocer’s hometown of Indianapolis to create Indiana Fresh – 2015 Sunrise Cookbook as a way to raise funds for United Christmas Service.
The 100-page cookbook, available for $9.95 at Marsh stores throughout Indianapolis, featured recipes and original photography from popular restaurants and eateries located across the state – and also included commentary and backgrounds of notable chefs and WTHR 13 Eyewitness News Sunrise talent.
Also included in the cookbook is a full page of Marsh Supermarkets coupons worth $10. To help with fundraising, the cookbook was promoted heavily on WTHR-TV as well as through social media. WTHR-TV personalities appeared at various Marsh stores autographing purchased copies of the cookbook.
This marks the fourth year that WTHR and ViMax have worked together on the cookbook, which has been published annually for nine years. During that time, more than $775,000 has been raised for charity.
Associated with United Way of Central Indiana, United Christmas Service helps raise funds to provide clothing, food, toys, and gifts for needy area families.
